Music History Time Machine

This year, we're traveling through time to learn about Music History. Starting in August, we'll begin with the Medieval Period and work our way through history by studying composers from each musical period. Composers will be presented in chronological order by time period.

In each lesson, students will learn three facts about each composer as well as listen to at least one of their compositions. After listening to each composition, students will compare and contrast the music of their composer of the day to composers we have studied in other time periods. They will also be encouraged to evaluate the music and give their opinion of each selection.
