About Your Teacher

Carrie Beth Wallace is a classically trained vocalist who always wanted to be a teacher. She attended the Schwob School of Music and spent a summer in Europe singing opera before graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Vocal Performance. In addition to teaching, Carrie Beth continues to perform regularly both in Macon and throughout the South.

Mrs. Wallace taught elementary music for two years before coming to FPD. She is trained in the Orff-Schulwerk Method and is currently working in the Georgia TAPP Program to obtain a teaching certificate for Music PK-12. She LOVES teaching Elementary Music and can't imagine doing anything else!

Mrs. Wallace is married to "Mr. Ben" who is an attorney in town. They have two dogs, Lucy and Tallulah. The Wallaces enjoy white water kayaking, watching the Braves, and sitting on their newly renovated porch. They attend First Presbyterian Church where Carrie Beth is the Director of Children's Music.
